Prince William & Catherine Middleton: Officially Married!

With everything going as beautifully as could be hoped, Prince William exchanged vows with his lovely bride Catherine Middleton at Westminster Abbey in London on Friday (April 29).
The couple's nuptials immediately changed their titles, with William now dubbed the Duke of Cambridge while Miss Middleton is now referred to as Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge.

As for the vows, William proudly proclaimed, "I, William Arthur Philip Louis, take thee, Catherine Elizabeth, to my wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse. For richer, for poorer. In sickness and in health. To love and to cherish, till death us do part."
The couple's marriage was doted with music performed by the London Chamber Orchestra while Kate wore a Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen wedding dress - with the designer being a known favorite of the late Princess Diana.
Quite the well-attended affair, royalty and celebrities including Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, Camilla, the Middleton family, Prince Harry, Chelsy Davy, David and Victoria Beckham, Elton John and Guy Ritchie all watched on as their loved ones became husband and wife.

Deepika Padukone and Siddhartha Mallya lock lips at Eden Gardens

Deepika Padukone was over with Ranbir Kapoor long back and now she is constantly being seen with Royal Challengers Bangalore owner Vijay Mallya’s son Siddharth Mallya at almost every social event. Though the two have always called each other as just friends, they could not help control locking lips when team won over Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL-4 cricket match at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Friday.

The duo, which was cheering for their IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore celebrated their team’s win by hugging each other tight and kissing. And all this happened in full public view and with senior Mallya standing right next to them.

Well, it is high time we feel that Deepika and Siddhartha accept their relationship!! Not that we have any doubts !!

Meet our ‘Rock n Roll’ girl: Katrina Kaif

In all her flicks uptil now (apart from her debut disaster ‘Boom’), Katrina Kaif has always played sweet, chirpy, bubbly characters. Now, it is high time the girl has finally let go of her goodie-goodie image and goes in for a hot rock n roll girl’s image for her forthcoming flick ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’. The movie has Kaif play a character who develops a liking for her fiance’s brother.

It was a pleasant surprise to see Kats with a tattered jeans and fingers on the strings of the guitar. The song sequence was shot amidst a huge crowd in Agra. strums the six-string with abandon. Her co-star Imran Khan and many actors were also part of the Agra schedule. The movie also stars the Pakistani actor Ali Zafar of Tere Bin Laden fame as the second male lead.

‘No Smoking’: says Vidya Balan on the sets of’Kahani’

Since the time Vidya Balan stepped into Bollywood, she has been known for portraying difficult roles with ease and poise. After Paa, Ishqiya and No One Killed Jessica, Vidya will be next seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s Kahaani.

Kahaani is a story of a pregnant woman who is on the look-out for her husband who’s gone missing. The film has been majorly shot in Kolkata.

Vidya Balan made sure that no one was allowed to smoke on the sets of Kahaani. If any such day passed that no-one was caught with a cigarette, not even the chain smokers, she celebrated the day with cake and chocolates for everyone.

Even Sujoy was not permitted to smoke on the sets. On occasion, when he tried a sneak, he was caught on camera by crew members and then punished by the actress.
