Deepika to learn director Prakash Jha’s way of working….

While shooting for Aarakshan in Bhopal, Prakash Jha apparently asked the movie’s lead actress Deepika Padukone to report on the sets on time.

This is Deepika’s first movie with Jha, and naturally the actress is new to his way of working. While Deepika usually arrives late on the sets, Jha on the other hand is very punctual and likes to finish his shoot on time. Not just Deepika but her co-star Saif Ali Khan, who plays a professor in the film, is also rarely on time.

“Deepika and Saif are invariably late for the shooting despite there not being many options for partying in Bhopal,” a source is quoted telling a daily.

Perhaps, they should take a cue from their co-star Amitabh Bachchan, who even after spending decades in the industry continues to be a well-disciplined actor. Big B, who plays a pivotal role in the film, is always on time.

Robert, Kristen and Taylor Land Spots in Top 40 Earners List

Certainly doing quite well for themselves, the stars of "Twilight" all made the cut in Vanity Fair's list of Hollywood's 40 most powerful players.

Offering up the who's who rundown in their March 2011 issue, VF places Taylor Lautner in 9th ($33.5 mil), Kristen Stewart at 13th ($28.5 mil) and Robert Pattinson in 15th ($27.5 mil).

As for the cream of the crop, "Avatar" producer/director James Cameron came out on top by grabbing the no. 1 ranking with a comfy $257 million.

Other high earners included Johnny Depp in 2nd ($100 mil), Steven Spielberg in 3rd ($80 mil), Christopher Nolan in 4th ($71.5 mil) and Leonardo DiCaprio in 5th ($62 mil) while Jennifer Aniston fell into the 18th slot with $24.5 million.

Britney Spears: Femme Fatale Dancin' Darling

Completely surrounded by her many staffers, Britney Spears did her best to go unnoticed (to no avail) as she left a dance studio in Woodland Hills, CA on Wednesday afternoon (February 2).

Fresh off of another busy day working on her moves, the "Hold It Against Me" singer hopped into her awaiting Mercedes-Benz SUV while being swooped away to do a little shopping at the nearby Topanga Plaza.

The sighting comes just after Miss Spears treated fans to the first look at her new album's cover art while announcing that her upcoming disc will be titled Femme Fatale.

Due out on March 15, Jive Records released a statement calling the disc "a tribute to bold, empowered, confident, elusive, fun, flirty women and men."

The label's writeup added, "It's not a conceptual album, Spears is letting the music speak for itself. She's worked hard on it for two years and she considers it to be her 'best album to date,' true to where she is now personally and professionally."

Was Ranbir at Katrina’s house just 2 hours before the IT raid?

Now that the whole world knows that Shahid was at Priyanka’s house when the IR raid happened. But few know that Ranbir Kapoor was also at Katrina’s the same night. He too would have been caught by the surprised IT personnel, except for the fact that he left just at 4 am.

“Apparently, Ranbir and Katrina have been meeting almost every night at her place after he finishes his workouts at a gym nearby. That night too (the night before the raids on January 23), Ranbir came over a little after 10 pm and spent some time with her,” says a source.

Now after Karan Johar’s party last night (Feb 1) the two just can’t stay away from each other.

Along with Ranbir and Kat all of B’wood big names were at Karan’s party at the Four Seasons Hotel in Mumbai. Aishwarya, Kareena, Priyanka Chopra, Arjun Rampal and even Deepika attended so it was a rocking bash. And after the party, Ranbir and Katrina were in no mood to part ways. And so they headed to Ranbir’s house, and Katrina apparently spent the night there.

Our sources in Mumbai tell us, “After Karan Johar’s party at the Four Seasons Hotel, Katrina headed to Ranbir’s house in Bandra and spent the night there. Her car was parked inside Ranbir’s house in Bandra until 6.30 in the morning.”

Just the other evening, they were seen partying at a trendy lounge in the city. Apparently, Ranbir and Kat walked in together at midnight and stayed close through the night. They weren’t even bothered about all the staring going on from other people at the lounge.

Britney Spears: Bridsesmaid Beauty

Having made her way to the sunshine state to support her loved ones, Britney Spears walked down the aisle as a bridesmaid in Miami, Florida on Saturday (January 29).

With the ceremony being held at The Spanish Monastery, the "Gimme More" singer partook in the lovely exchange of vows between Frank Lionetti and assistant Brett Miller.

Not making the trip by her lonesome, Miss Spears' boyfriend, Jason Trawick, was also in attendance as he intently watched on from his seat.

Hottie Deepika Padukone has been spotted and snapped with Siddharth Mallya on many occasions. Though they still maintain that they are ‘just good friends’, their affection for each other seems to be more than mere friendship.

The way the duo hog the limelight, its clear that they are romancing each other.

Recently, Deepika was with her family in Copenhagem, New England on her birthday on 5th January. Siddharth, whom Deepika wasn’t expecting at all, surprised her by making it to the party. Shahid-Priyanka getting cozier by the day…

Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra is in the news everyday and it’s quite clear that are dating each other. A few days ago, he was found present in Priyanka’s flat when the IT authorities raided it.

Last night, he dropped in at Yash Raj Studios (Andheri) to spend quality time with her. Piggy was busy rehearsing for her act tonight at the Filmfare Awards.

An eyewitness says, “Her face lit up when she saw Shahid. He motivated her and cheered her all the way.”
Shahid’s entry raised eyebrows nevertheless. Adds the eyewitness, “He walked in and gave Priyanka a big, warm hug and a peck on her cheek.”

There is a particular sequence in Priyanka’s act in the Filmfare Awards, which shows her with a paper plane called PC airways.

Though Shahid left in a little while, his parting words to the organisers apparently were, “Priyanka always wanted a chartered plane. She also wanted a bungalow. Now give her that too.”
